SINO I AM ME
“I am me, and that’s my greatest strength.”
Sino, born Maurice Stegall on October 25, 1987, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, is more than an artist—he is a voice for resilience, healing, and purpose.
Raised in the small town of Newnan, Georgia, just 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, Sino’s journey has been shaped by humble beginnings, real-life experience, and an unwavering desire to inspire others through music.
After graduating from Newnan High School, Sino proudly served in the United States Navy as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handler). His military service strengthened the foundation of discipline, perseverance, and commitment that continues to define both his character and his artistry today.
Sino’s love for music began at an early age, deeply influenced by his father and uncles, who were members of the gospel group The Anointed Disciples. Surrounded by powerful harmonies and spiritual storytelling, he learned that music has the ability to uplift, connect, and heal an understanding that fuels every message he delivers.
Today, Sino creates music rooted in truth, struggle, and triumph, using his platform for something greater than entertainment. He is the founder of The I Am Me Movement, a mission-driven initiative dedicated to mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and empowering individuals to embrace their identity and fight through life’s hardest moments.
Through his powerful brand S.I.N.O. Suicide Is No Option, Sino reminds the world that there is strength in survival, meaning in the pain, and hope beyond the darkness. His work stands as a testament that no one is alone and that every story still has purpose.
